Today was at Gandhi Smriti Bhawan for Call of Volunteer under Delhi Government – Samajik Suvidha Sangam program.

Adharshila – the NGO with which I am working in SIP for SOIL was one of the supporter of this event.

And Guest of Honour was none other than great Dr. Deepak Chopra, the great  and must say that he is really great.

Few seconds were up and this great person was all over in my mind.

He shared his close touch with 9/11 Sept when his Son and he both took a different flight s 5 minute apart from the deadly plane.

Then he took over my favourite topc – one of the pillars of SOIL and my classroom – Compassion.

He rightly put it as the most healing experience. The experience of ‘the separate self which is socially induced and is in single conscious.

He went on to say that now Nature’s Enough is around the corner if we don’t change ourselves.

Nature may stop supporting and may say that this experiment of human is biggest threat to its own kind and Dr. Deepak also added that Nature will flourish if Human wouldn’t be there.

How true these word’s are that Compassion is “ability to share someone’s suffering and then to participate in alleviating that suffering.

The Need for hour is Radical Shift when the Disparity is of such extent that 30% of children still go to bed without food.

The Radical Change could only be achieved when Social Transformation is there and this transformation is only possible when Personal Transformation is there.

But he warned that Moral Outrage , Strident which lead to Inner Anger are not Consciousness.

Consciousness is to feel. To Create Abundance, To Create Peace – ad for all this bring all this in you.

And OVERALL THINK GLOBALLY.

He really kept us all spellbound with his great speech on this great topic and need of to change, and to bring the Change in self.

Made me think where I am and now what to do – let me assert that Adharshila has made me found the purpose of life.
